Last summer, my boys and I took a day trip nearly every weekend. Somewhere in the process, I created this blog, with the intention of writing about those day trips: the locations, our preparations, what we enjoyed, etc. In theory, it was a fine idea. But the execution was tricky. When one is working two jobs, taking care of two smallish boys, and taking a day trip every weekend, it’s difficult to find time and energy to then write about those trips.
Our schedule is a little calmer now and I find myself thinking a lot about last summer’s adventures and my half-baked essays detailing them. Something tells me they will soon be appearing here.
