Let It Begin!

There's a scene in the Disney movie, Bolt, where the hamster can't wait to start his adventure.  He slams himself against his hamster ball shouting, "Let it begin!  Let it begin!"

That's only a slightly exaggerated description of how I feel about this year's Park Quest!

Last year, the boys and I completed nine of the fourteen available quests between May 9 and July 26. 

Assateague State Park

Calvert Cliffs State Park

Elk Neck State Park

Gambrill State Park

Greenwell State Park

Patapsco Valley State Park

Pocomoke River State Park

Seneca Creek State Park

Washington Monument State Park

We qualified and attended the Park Quest Finale and even won a free camping trip (through a drawing, not by our skills)!

This year, twenty-four Maryland State Parks are participating in Park Quest 2010.  Questing is open from May 29 to September 6.  Families/teams can register online.

We got our passport over the weekend.
