This has been my favorite wildflower since I was a little girl.

Of course, I think it's actually considered a weed and an invasive (non-native) one at that.

But did you know Queen Anne's Lace is a type of wild carrot?  The roots are edible when the plants are young.  Just one of many odd facts I have cluttering my brain.
